03/28/15: The 3rd Annual "Friendly Farmer's Forum" will be held on Saturday, March 28th from 12 to 5 p.m., at Mt. Carmel Health & Wellness Center. All regional agricultural producers, home, and beginner gardeners are invited to exchange resources and knowledge. Snacks will be provided. Sponsored by Earth Mountain Education Farm. 03/29/15: Trinidad Community Garden spring meeting will be held on Sunday, March 29th from 10 a.m. to noon at the Community Food Co-op on the corner of Elm and Maple Streets. Anyone interested in having a 15 foot x 15 foot plot at the garden this year should attend. 04/18/15: The Peacock Ball, Noah's Ark Animal Welfare Association's annual fundraising event, will happen on Saturday, April 18th at Brix in Trinidad. Enjoy live music, dinner, dancing, silent auctions, raffles, casino games and FUN! Tickets will not be available at the door. 04/18/15: The Raton Chamber of Commerce 5th Annual Cowboy Ball will be held April 18th at the NRA Whittington Center, Coors Building, beginning at 5 p.m. with happy hour. Classic cowboy fun with a chuck wagon dinner, live music with Colfax Reunion, dancing, fabulous door prizes and a silent auction will get folks out for a night of great food, fun music and good ol' fashioned fun!
